This year the programme is packed with more oddballs and hopefuls than ever before – and that’s just the presenters’ view.
Simon Cowell has increased the number of finalists going through to the live shows to 45, which will mean nine acts on each programme.

Hosts Ant McPartlin and Declan Donnelly said this year’s crop had some of the most ‘bizarre’ acts they had ever seen.
Mr Donnelly said: ‘There was someone who played their teeth. It was very bizarre. You think you have seen it all but you haven’t. We also had our first female impersonator – it is a woman performing as a drag act.’

OAP band The Zimmers, a group made up entirely of over-70s, is also tipped for success after impressing the judges.
The elderly pop act have already had some success when their version of The Who’s My Generation reached No.26 in the charts in 2007.

ITV and the BBC had been embroiled in a bitter battle for Saturday night audiences as both their big entertainment shows launch on Saturday March 24 – but have now agreed a truce.
Bosses decided to reschedule Britain’s Got Talent at the 11th hour to avoid a clash with BBC1’s new show, The Voice.
ITV has moved BGT to 8pm while The Voice will start on BBC1 at 7pm, limiting what had looked set to be a major overlap between the two shows to just 20 minutes.
