But Lady Gaga had another reason to wear a crown today - her 26th birthday.
The singer stepped out wearing a rhinestone tiara to mark her milestone in West Hollywood. She paired the headdress with a leather motorcycle jacket, which was also adorned with the same crystals.
Just below her princess-style accessory she also tied a traditional biker scarf around her head.
As per usual there was very little to Gaga's outfit at the bottom, with the Poker Face star wearing just a pair of opaque tights over her black underwear and a pair of sky-high boots.
She was joined by her pet pooch for her special day - the pup dressed in a little white T-shirt.
Gaga wore a lashing of her signature red lipstick for the outing after earlier this week deciding to show her fans what she looks like underneath all of the heavy make-up.

She appeared to have taken the snap in a bathroom and pouted into the mirror as she showed off her fresh face.
Gaga had tied her platinum locks away from her bare face and was wearing a white flower behind one ear.
Bare-faced: Earlier this week, the singer posted a photo to her Twitter account which showed her with no make-up onShe was wearing a green tank top that fell off one shoulder as she leaned forward to take the photograph on her Blackberry.
The singer has been hard at work preparing for her upcoming Born This Way ball tour, which kicks off next month.
But she has still been finding the time to check in with her fans over the social networking site.
A few days earlier Gaga posted a photo to her Twitter page to show her followers her new earrings.
While she looked lovely in a blue dress and simple make-up, it seemed the strains of tour rehearsals were getting to the star and she appeared a little tired in the snap.
Gaga is currently dating actor and model Taylor Kinney, who she met while shooting her music video You And I last year.
