Careful! Heavily pregnant Alyson Hannigan made her way carefully into the movie theatre for the premiere of American Reunion last night

While the rest of the cast had a whale of a time promoting American Reunion at the Australian premiere, heavily pregnant Alyson Hannigan was forced to sit it out.
But as a pivotal part of the baked goods and bawdy antics franchise, it was never going to feel like a proper reunion without the 37-year-old red head.
So tonight, there was a fresh sense of excitement at the LA premiere of the hotly anticipated film as the How I Met Your Mother favourite lined up with her co-stars.

And she refused to hide her light under a bushel, donning for the big event the kind of risque dress that many would think twice about at their slender best.
It was both tight, shiny and bright green - a brave choice considering the drooping awnings of shamrock green that remain in Hollywood post St Patrick's Day, just metres from the venue.
But with her crimson barnet, Hannigan pulled the look off with aplomb.

The actress took a tender moment to share an embrace with her friend and co-star, Mena Suvari, 33, who was a knock-out in asymmetric black.
36-year-old also opted for a one shoulder wonder, in her case donning a wonderfully restrained floor-length cream number paired with a sleek pony tail.
Jennifer Coolidge,48, who plays the pneumatic Stifler's mom, lived her to her sultry reputation in the movie by squeezing into a tight, busty purple lace mini-dress.
