'Most beautiful women in world': Relaxed and radiant Beyoncé stepped out in New York today wearing Charlotte Olympia flats
She's long been known as a high-maintenance diva, but it seems motherhood really has transformed Beyoncé.
The singer, 30, has revealed she now cuts her own hair and happily wears flat shoes following the birth of her daughter Blue in January.
She opened up about her new fuss-free approach in the new issue of People magazine, which crowned her the world's most beautiful woman.
The glamorous star, who stepped out in New York today wearing $660 Charlotte Olympia 'Cat-Face' flats, admit that being a mother has convinced her to hang up her stilettos from time to time.
She said: 'I never thought there would be a day when I wouldn't wear heels.
'Now that I have a child, I walk around holding her all day, I'm buying loafers and oxfords. I love the, because they're comfortable, and shorter heels too.
She added: '[Jay-Z] loves it when I wear flat shoes, which is surprising - he never saw me in flats before! He likes me more natural - just he relaxed, natural me.'
She also admitted to taking her hair into her own hands rather than visit an expensive stylist.

She said: 'I recently cut two inches myself - I just parted it in the middle and chh-chh-chh!'
The star may have eased up her beauty regime, but the star is more confident than ever. She reveals: 'I feel more beautiful than I've ever felt because I've given birth. I have never felt so connected, never felt like I had such a purpose on this earth.'
She adds: 'The best thing about having a daughter is having a true legacy.
'The word "love" means something completely different now.'
Beyoncé also revealed how breast-feeding her little one for ten weeks helped her lose 'the bulk' of her pregnancy weight, but that she's now on a strict-protein based diet. She now works out three times a week for 90 minutes, doing a combination of running, dancing and crunches.
'I'm definitely softer, but I feel my body bouncing back,' she says.

The singer wears a white tulle confection for the front cover shot of People magazine, with an elaborate blue necklace.
She tops a list of ten most beautiful stars nominated by the magazine, and other categories including 'beauty at every age' and 'stunning stars'.
Modern Family star Sofia Vergara takes second place in the top ten list.
The 39-year-old Colombian loves says she is not ashamed that her good looks have opened doors for her.

Miss Theron also became a mother recently after adopting a little boy, Jackson.
The former model told Vogue magazine recently of starting out: 'I was too tall, too big, too late for the supermodel look of the Eighties. Kate Moss and all the tiny, grungy girls had just become fashionable, and I didn’t fit the bill.'
