Good son: David Beckham took his mother to a traditional pie and mash shop for lunch after landing at London Heathrow hours earlier

He is good looking, athletic, a fan of male grooming and judging by these photographs he is a real mummy's boy.
David Beckham arrived back in London today and chose to combine two of his favourite things in one swift move. The 37-year-old picked up his mother Sandra and headed straight for his east London cuisine of choice - pie and mash.
The Los Angeles Galaxy footballer posted a picture on his Facebook page of his lunch date with his mother, earlier today. He said: 'As I'm sure you would have expected, I had a pie and mash lunch today with my mum. There is nothing better.'
The photograph, which was uploaded a little over two hours ago, already has over 40,000 likes and almost 2,000 comments.

The father-of-four looked like a real dapper dandy as he wore a black Big Apple Cap with a plain grey T-shirt and was still sporting some well shaped facial hair.
With his tattoos on show, a proud David smiled at the camera with his mother as a Union flag hung patriotically in the background.
The former England football captain then played the doting grandson as he left Sandra and dropped in to see his grandmother.

Top star: Charlize had flown in from New York and exchanged a quick kiss with the professional footballer before they went their separate ways

He again posted the picture on Facebook and added the caption: 'Great to be back in London. Paid a surprise visit to see my gran.'
Beckham is sure to have made his millions of female fans swoon with the cute photograph that shows him standing with a number of grey haired women.
Although it is unclear which lady is Grandmother West, they all look happy and proud to be standing with the star footballer.

Beckham arrived from Los Angeles at London Heathrow Airport this morning and bumped into Hollywood star Charlize Theron.
The Snow White and the Huntsman actor had arrived from New York and exchanged a quick kiss on the cheek with Becks as she left Terminal 5.
