Iron maiden: Lady Gaga shows off her DIY skills as she prepares the floor area ahead of her tour in Seoul, South Korea

She is well known for her outrageous fashion styles and elaborate, over-the-top stage performances. But Lady Gaga showed that she is just as illustrious behind the scenes and off the camera, earlier today.
The 26-year-old tweeted her fans to some behind the scenes pictures as she literally prepared her stage at the Olympic Stadium in Seoul, South Korea. The You and I singer is due to kick off her new world tour, Born This Way Ball 2012, this Friday and treated her million fans to a glimpse of what they can expect to see ahead of the show. Gaga was seen flexing her muscles while using an electric drill to secure some floor panels to the 70,000 seat stadium.
The star enjoyed getting her hands dirty and mixing with her crew and tweeted a message to her fans along with the pictures.

Break a leg: The pop star was over the moon with the stadium and said: ' The Stage is more than I could dream for.'

She said: 'I will do anything for my fans! Having fun with the stage crew guys, screwing on the runway. A Real Iron Maiden!'
Although Gaga was all smiles as she got her hands on some big tools, she chose not to wear any conventional overalls for her manual labor.
The multimillion pound selling artist stayed true to form in a pair of platform ankle boots which she teamed with a pair of fishnet tights.
She also wore a pair of black shorts with a matching sleeveless shirt and accessorised with a pair of fingerless leather gloves.

It's up to you: Lady Gaga danced in the rain and commented that the Seoul weather was like New York

It seems having a hands on approach and paying close attention to detail payed off the star as she was over the moon with the final set up.
She said: 'So happy! The Stage is more than I could dream for, time to kill the dance floor. Off to rehearsal.'
It seems the native New Yorker took the weather with her, as the cloudy sky opened and rain fell as she arrived in the country, earlier this week.
Always one to look on the bright side of things Lady Gaga didn't let the downpour get her down and she reminisced about home.
She tweeted: 'Imagine when it's full. I love that it's raining, so NEW YORK of you Korea! Photos by @tarasavelo xoxo wee!'

Not welcome: A local resident puts up a large poster in protest of Lady Gaga's upcoming performance on Friday

While the sold out Olympic stadium is transformed into a castle, some locals have not been so keen on seeing Gaga perform.
Conservative Christians in South Korea have accused the singer of promoting pornogrpaphy and homosexuality.
Members of the group Alliance for Sound Culture in Sexuality put up posters, accusing Gaga of 'spreading unhealthy sexual culture' through 'lewd lyrics and performances', according to AFP.

From Gaga with love: The You and I singer has been tweeting her fans everyday

The concert in Seoul has been given a rating of 18 by the Korea Media Rating Board.
Lady Gaga tweeted in repsonse at the time: 'Although not affecting ticket sales in Seoul, parents should be given more credit to determine what's good for their children. I love my fans. Thank u to all the adults in Korea who are speaking out for underaged who want to come to the BTW Ball. Maybe the gov. will change their mind.'
