Nick Jonas creates buzz by cutting off his cute curls after taking final bow in Broadway show

New chapter. New hair cut.
That was how Nick Jonas announced his new buzz cut on Twitter, after his final appearance last week in the Broadway musical How to Succeed in Business Without Really Trying.
And today he took his new curl-free look to see hundreds of New York school students make their own Broadway musical debut.
The youngest Jonas brother lopped off his curls a week ago to mark a new chapter in his life: the end of the Tony-nominated Broadway musical, which closed after a year-long run. Those curls may not be gone for long, however, judging by the speed with which the teen star's hair has grown in just eight days from its initial military-style buzz cut.

Dressed casually in an orange and brown plaid shirt, denim jeans and beige lace-up shoes, the 19-year-old musician and actor posed for cameras this morning at New York's Shubert Theatre on West 225th and 44th Streets.

Nick went for the new look to celebrate his newly-found freedom from his Broadway musical character Finch, but that's not the only chapter he's closed this year.
The teen ended a ten-month relationship with 27-year-old Australian singer Delta Goodrem in February.
He has since been rumoured to be seeing quite a bit of Smash star Megan Hilty.
Nick met Megan when he appeared on Smash as former child star Lyle West, who - wait for it - became involved in helping to raise funds for a Broadway musical.

Old chapter:

Nick performed his duties as a real-life musical role model today, when he acted as Master of Ceremonies for the 7th Annual Shubert Foundation/MTI Broadway JR. Student Program.
Hundreds of students from New York public schools performed on stage for the very first time, singing and dancing their student versions of musicals such as Disney's Aladdin, Guys and Dolls and Bugsy Malone.
The Shubert Foundation mentorship program was founded to build self-sustaining theatre programs in underfunded public schools that have limited arts programming.
